Zinc Sports, a British company that specializes in electric mobility offerings, has launched an innovative seated scooter that combines the best traits of e-bikes and electric scooters.
The ‘Venture’ is a seated scooter that is equipped with a hub motor that is capable of pumping out 250 watts of power, enabling the scooter to achieve a top speed of 25 km/h and navigate inclines of up to 15 percent. Elsewhere, this e-scooter is fitted with a lithium-ion battery that is said to be able to offer up to 24 km of operation on a single charge.
This seated scooter comes with an adjustable padded seat with spring suspension, making it exceptionally comfortable to ride. Weighing in at under 40 pounds and capable of carrying up to 265 pounds, the ‘Venture’ is available for $592 and is perfectly designed for the urban environment.
