HP is preparing to launch the updated Envy x360 notebooks, which allows users to experience an IMAX movie in their own homes. The lineup of the Envy series features personal computers that can alter the function of a laptop or tablet. Now, the company works together with IMAX to deliver the first IMAX Enhanced-certified personal computers.
The main difference between classic movies and IMAX movies is that the former has the typical 2.39:1 found during regular screens, and the IMAX has a higher ratio of 1.43:1 or 1.90:1. The new Envy notebooks will give customers an upgraded OLED screen that has a taller ratio and elevate their spacial audio experience with DTS:X technology as well.
